The PolarStar Ver.2 Gen3 Fusion Engine is one of the most advanced on the market and offers all the same performance and reliability of the original fusion engine but comes pre-upgraded with with a red low flow poppet for increased efficiency and stability. What is the Fusion Engine?: The PolarStar Gen3 V2 Fusion Engine takes place of any Ver. 2 AEG Gearbox as a direct drop-in. It is powered via High Pressure Air (HPA) & only requires a small battery (7.4v-9.6v NiMH or Lipo recommended) to power the onboard FCU computer. This kit comes with the necessary core parts to convert your AEG Model-4 / Model-16 to the Fusion System, and can be used with other Ver 2 AEGs by replacing key components. The Fusion Engine is compatible with AEG style Hopups and Inners allowing the use of standard upgrade parts. You will also be able to adjust its FPS via the remote air rig (sold separately). Adjusting the PSI output on your air rig allows you to fine tune the FPS to however you want it. With other upgrades to air nozzles with varying bore sizes, you can shift the velocity adjustment range up or down to best meet your requirements (sold separately). • Complete control of the system via the FCU, fully adjustable FPS and ROF, and user adjustable Semi/Auto, Semi-Only, 2rd-9rd Burst, and open/closed cycling modes. You can quickly adjust key functions of the engine via the on-board FCU which is no bigger than an AEG's MOSFET and can easily fit inside of your platform's battery compartment along with a small Li-po battery. Using the FCU's 5-position joystick and LCD display you can easily adjust the systems rate, modes and timing on the fly.
